Home truths about Holland:
1. Cycle, don't drive.
2. The land is flat, very flat. Think Table Moutain top flat.
3. Coffee there is strong, baie strong.
4. Dogs are ornaments, not animals.
5. It is illegal for parents to physically discipline their children. Hence Dutch kids can be brats.
6. Fields and lawns make Canada green look dull.
7. Afternoon coffee is at 4pm. Coffee at night is at 8pm. Don't be late!
8. The flowers are the prettiest in the world.
9. It looks like toy-land.
10. A lot of Dutch people think that Afrikaans is a form of Old Dutch. Fail.
