National Arts Festival Booking Kit Cover

Love Interrupted

I was asked to do a cover illustration for Reneilwe Malatji’s ‘Love Interrupted’, published by Hands-On Books. This is the result.

That's not pixelation, it's design.

Being on the communications team for the Cape Town MyCiTi project has made me all too aware of the power of good design - whether it be in an airport, on a bus or in that pamphlet you just chucked in the bin.

Signage is all about communication, this we know. But it's easy to forget that said signage should convey a sense of the project, as well as the identity of the city or country in which its being implemented.

The above photo is of signage designed by Ruedi Baur
for Vienna Airport. That's not pixelation on your screen,  it's design - check out the full article on this ingenius designer's experimental signage in the New York Times here.

Ms Tash is BACK!

So it's been an absolute age since I last blogged and for this I apologise.

Ms Tash will soon be back with loads of posts, news and titbits on design, fashion, life and the literary world.

Until then, check out these fantastic reviews of Kelwyn Sole's latest volume of poetry, Absent Tongues.

Love,
